YOGA

WHEN YOU START TO CHANGE THINGS INSIDE YOU,
THINGS CHANGE AROUND YOU.

I've always had a busy mind and it can be difficult to retain calmness and equanimity in the face of all the things we feel we need to do each day. 

The search for more inner peace led me many years ago to yoga, and I finally found a way to slow the stream of thought - with varying degrees of success.

In order to deepen my practice I spent some time in India and completed a yoga teacher training. And for the last few years it's been my privilege to be able to share these techniques and philosophies with others, teaching at Yoga Balance in Bregenz as part of a wonderful team.   

The aim of our classes is providing a space for bringing back inner balance in one's own time, through physical exercises, breathwork, and meditation. Regular practice helps let go of stress, recognise one's own patterns of behaviour, and getting to know - and accept - one's own limitations.

 

People often have the wrong image of yoga: you don't need to master the headstand or be ridiculously flexible in order to practice yoga.

Most of "yoga" actually happens outside the yoga studio itself; the yoga mat is merely a tool to bring into the everyday a consciousness, lightness, love, calm, and equanimity. We´d love to get to know you sometime soon at one of our classes.
